We discovered Tangalle primarily due to our interest in witnessing turtles laying eggs and watching baby turtles make their way to the ocean. This led us to “Turtle Watch Rekawa,” a renowned turtle conservation project. While Tangalle offers fascinating explorations and beautiful beaches, if you are short on time during your visit to Sri Lanka, it might be best to either skip it or make a brief stop at “Turtle Watch Rekawa” on your way to other destinations.
