Flights:

Skyscanner: This is our go to app for booking 90% of our flights. This platform excels in finding the best deals, ensuring you start your holidays without breaking the bank. When we don’t have any travel plans we love the “explore everywhere” feature since it shows you the best deals that they offer for the month that you are looking to fly.

WayAway: This new platform has come in handy in the last few months for us, works pretty similar to Skyscanner. So nowadays we use also this platform to compare flight prices.

Accommodation:

Booking.com: This is our go to app for booking our accommodation, specially when it comes to hotels. This platform is great to compare different hotels, hostels, guesthouses and apartments.

Agoda: Works really similar to Booking.com, but we use it mainly to book our accommodations when in Asia or Oceania, since is where they have the most offer. For this continents they offer the best prices! Pro tip: don’t use it to search for hotels, use first Booking.com to find a variety of hotels that you like and then search them in Agoda.

HostelWorld: The best app to find hostels all around the world that suit with what you are looking for.

Airbnb: This app has been here for a long time and we are sure you know it. When use it sometimes to find apartments when we feel like we need more space than only a hotel room.

TrustedHouseSitter: This app offers you the chance to visit the world on a budget, you will stay in a house in exchange of taking care of pets.

Tours:

GetYourGuide: This is our main app to book our activities and tours. They operate worldwide with an immense variety of activities, from city tours to unique experiences.

Klook: Similar to GetYourGuide, we discover this platform while traveling Asia and found out that sometimes they have better prices than the one above, so make sure to compare this two platforms when booking a tour!

GoCity: This one has become one of our favourite apps when we are looking to do many activities/tours in a same city, since it offers the possibility to create a “CityPass” with the places you want to see while also saving money, since is cheaper to buy a bundle of activities than one by one in the ticket office!

G Adventures: This platform offers multi-day group tours to some incredible places across the world. This one has been a great discovery and we want to use it more in the future for our travels in Africa.

Transport:

12Go.Asia: This is our go-to platform to book our buses and trains to navigate Asian and Oceania destinations.

Omio: This is our go-to platform to search, compare and book our buses and trains to navigate European destinations.

TrainLine: This is another of the apps that we use while in Europe to compare and book our train tickets.

Extras:

Express VPN: The best VPN service to keep your data safe while traveling!
