Hello there! We’re happy to have you here and welcome to On a Journey Together.
We are Ann-Kathrin and Sebastian, two wanderlust-fueled souls from Germany and Spain. In February 2023, we bravely left our 9-5 jobs to embark on a journey around the world to live and create the life we have always dreamt of. What started on Instagram as a way to share our adventures with friends and family evolved into a passion project. Now, we are on a mission to not just showcase our journey but to provide YOU with practical tips and itineraries to help plan YOUR dream getaways while saving money along the way.

Who is Ann-Kathrin?
I’m Ann-Kathrin from Germany, the girl with the crazy blonde curls. I would describe myself as the spontaneous and perfectionist out of the group. I love sunsets and the beach. Yes beaches are definitely my favourite. Also Reeses are my other weakness. I loved photography and writing stories since I was very young – so it had to lead into becoming a blogger at some stage I guess? Only took me 27 years, a career in administration and traveling to 31 countries to realise this. But hey, better late than never!
Who is Sebastian?
I’m Sebastian from Spain, the guy with the big smile always in the face. I would describe myself as the crazy trip planner and finance minister of the group. I love sunsets and the mountains. Also I’m a big time lover of burgers (I even have a world ranking…). I always loved taking a camera to videotape my travels and also plan the trips – so at some stage it had to lead me into be part of something like this!
But… why On a Journey Together?
When we started to think about a name for our Instagram page we came with a lot of different names, so after some thinking we did our top 3 and asked our friends to do a ranking from most liked to less. At the end, we decided to go with the less voted, “On a Journey Together” since we found a meaning in that name. Our page was going to show our journey together through the world and we want to take all of you with us!
